Trial dates announced for the 2019/20 season

“A New Beginning”

 

Bradford City Women’s Football Club are pleased to announce that plans for next season are now set in place.

    The club has been working tirelessly behind the scenes over the past few months ready to embrace ‘A New Beginning’ and putting last season’s difficulties behind them.

    We are very excited to report that as well as working towards strengthening our 1st XI squad we will be reinstating our reserve team back into the fold. Both teams will be competing in the official FA Women’s National League & Reserve League respectively for the forthcoming 2019/20 season. This is just one of many new modules that City have planned for this ‘new beginning’.

   

     Dates for our open age (16+) trials/pre-season training start on Tuesday the 25th June at 6.45pm – 8.30pm at Rawdon Meadow playing fields. Harrogate Road, Apperley Bridge, Bradford. BD10 0NR

 and subsequently thereafter every Tuesday and Thursday nights 6.45pm – 8.30pm and Sunday mornings 10.00am – 12 noon. (dependant on friendly fixtures).

     They will run continually right up until the start of the new season and we welcome all existing and new players to trial / train at times to suit you ‘the players’ but please register your interest in advance with our Head Coach Steve Winterburn, accompanied with the following information via email or WhatsApp.

Directions to Rawdon Meadows Playing Fields. Harrogate Road, Apperley Bridge, Bradford. BD10 0NR.

 FROM THE NORTH:

Take the A1 to Knaresborough/York exit.

Then follow A59 towards Knaresborough.

At roundabout exit onto A658. Stay on A658 (eventually pass Leeds/Bradford Airport on the left). Under the runway tunnel and then straight across at the traffic lights.

Straight across at next lights coming down the hill right to the bottom. Stansfield Arms Public House and Restaurant is on the right and Rawdon Meadows Playing Fields is on the left, adjacent to Woodhouse Grove School.

 FROM M62:

Exit at j26 taking M606 signed Bradford.

Stay on M606 to end and turn right at roundabout following Airport/Harrogate signs (A6177).

Stay on this road until signs A658 Airport/Harrogate.

Turn right. Stay on road to Greengates traffic lights just beyond Sainsburys.

Through lights and straight down hill for ¼ mile. Rawdon Meadows Playing Fields is on the right opposite Stansfield Arms Public House and Restaurant.
