Emotions got the better of some but all were heroes on the day.

 

May 5th 2008 the under 14's reached and played York City (unbeaten throughout the season) in the final of the West Riding Girls League Cup. After going one up, then coming from behind making it 3-2 with less than 10 minutes remaining it was looking good for City but sadly York City stole the show with an equalizer 9 minutes from time and a winner in the dying seconds. The girls did themselves and the club proud and were very unlucky not to win. Well done John, you have done a fantastic job this season with the under 14's!
