Sunday 15th April 2007
Huddesfield Town 1-2 Bradford City . League
Aimee Driver
Yaz Ayub
Bradford knocked arch rivals Huddersfield Town off top spot with a 2-1 derby win which takes the title race to the final game.
It was never going to be an easy ride against a side who could have clinched the title themselves with victory but City took the initiative with an inspired piece of improvisation from Aimee Driver. Alice Thackray knocked in a cross from the right and Driver cleverly used the bounce of the ball to lift it over the oncoming keeper with the outside of her foot. Town drew level 10 mins later but City then restoed their lead in the 56th minute when Yaz forced the ball over the line after Ami Nolans corner rebounded off the inside of the far post. City then found themselves under tremendous pressure but managed to hold on and secure the points.

Sunday 08th April 2007
Blyth Spartans  0-2 Bradford City . League
Sarah Binns 3 mins
Alice Thackray 53
Bradford closed the gap on leaders Huddersfield Town to just one point with this 2-0 away win to bottom club Blyth Spartans. The day however was marred 20 mins from time when a melee involving players from both clubs resulted in 3 red cards. Ami Nolan and Aimee Driver were both given their marching orders but hopefully will not miss the final push for the title. Caroline Cropp played an inch perfect pass to Binnsy who lobbed the keeper after just 3 minutes and 8 minutes into the 2nd half Driver made ground down the left and pulled a fine ball back for Alice to knock in from close range. Yaz had what looked like a perfectly good goal ruled out for offside in the closing minutes but City took full points in a game they never looked like losing.

Wednesday 4th April 2007
Bradford City 1-4 Leeds United. County Cup Semi-Final
Amy Parker 48.
Bradford traveled to the County Ground to take on local rivals Leeds United but unfortunately came up against a very well organised and talented young Leeds team. The score line is nothing to go by due to Leeds scoring a fluke goal on the stroke of half time and their forth was a gift from an unfortunate rebound of the keeper. Bradford looked their best at set pieces, especially at corners where they came close several times including hitting the post.

Sunday 1st April 2007
Bradford City 4-0 Morley. League
A. Parker(2)
A Nolan
A Thackray
On a bright Sunday afternoon treble chasing Bradford maintained the pressure on neighbours Huddersfield with a 4-0 home win over Morley which guarantees them at least the runners up spot.
Amy Parker headed home an Ami Nolan corner to open the scoring in the 16th minute then another Ami corner 12 minutes later was carried into the net by the visiting keeper leaving City 2-0 up at half time. City never looked like losing and any chance Morley's had of getting back in the game disappeared 6 minutes into the 2nd half when Amy Parker drove the ball into the right hand corner from an acute angle for City's third. Alice Thackray wrapped up the scoring on the hour when she coolly slotted a right foot shot past the keeper after being put through by Aimee D.
