FUN RUN COMPLETED.
Players,
coaches, managers, friends and relatives took place in a 3 mile fun run at the weekend to help club funds and to raise money
for the MS charity. Well done to all concerned. Estimated pledges and monies collected are well over £500 and the full total
will be announced later. Thank you to all who sponsored the runners. Alice Thackray came in first place with Sarah Binns and
Vicki Wood close behind.
Mixing Work with pleasure. Pre seasons sunday meet on the 28th will be a mixture of working out and raising money. Everyone
and anyone can join in. Headed by our own Lorraine kennedy, players young and old, new and existing plus friends can all join
in. The days format will be to complete a 3 mile Riverside fun run, finished off with five a side football. Players and
all other club members can now start collecting sponsorship to go towards club funds and Multiple Sclerosis. Please, please, please use the
link below to register your name on the role of honour to participate and print off an official sponsor form and get collecting.
