KEEPING UP TO SPEED

Despite the long cold freezing weather and massive disruptions to the footballing timetable, the City Women keep up to speed with their team moral and fitness.

Coach Steve Winterburn had his First team squad working hard on Sunday morning keeping preparations up to date for their 3rd Round FA Cup tie against Charlton after a second consecutive postponement due to the frozen winter conditions. Fingers crossed for this coming weekend that the temperature will rise a little and allow this fixture to go ahead as the players are eager to get going again after such a long break.

City also have a back log of league fixtures to catch up with due to their successful cup runs and the weather so training sessions and keeping fit are key and to say the least, going very well.
